Everything's going to be all right

That's the buzz around Syracuse, surprisingly, following last night's setback in Providence. Folks around here are taking a realistic approach to the defeat, acknowledging the razor thin bench and accepting the inevitable dip in the Big East road. It could be worse. The Orange could have lost 4-straight, including losses at Seton Hall and at Cincinnati. Oh wait... that's what Georgetown is going through right now. The same Georgetown I tabbed as the disappointing team in the Big East this year. Allow myself to pat...myself...on the back.

The Orange have a week to get healthy, and then it's into The Gauntlet, version 2.0. West Virginia. At Villanova. At UConn. Georgetown. Villanova. I'll break that down next week. In the mean time, let's all just keep calm. Everything's going to be all right.
