Brilliant
Can you figure out which five players are on the court? I did. See comments below for the answer.
Found it while looking for a clip of Boeheim on SportsCenter yesterday. If anyone knows where I can see that, please let me know.

I figured out the players but I had to look the year and the game up. I believe this was the 1999 first round loss to Oklahoma State. On the court for the Orange:
4 - Tony Bland
5 - Jason Hart
25 - Damone Brown
32 - Ryan Blackwell
33 - Etan Thomas
Just noticed something else. What a slap in the face that Syracuse has 0 points at the 12:30 mark in a game against nobody! Now I have to look up if that was actually our score at that point...
No, there's no way we had zero points at that point. According to this report, OK St quickly jumped out to a 6-0 lead before Hart hit a three. I think it would have mentioned an 8 minute scoring drought to begin the game.
Still, I love the ad because it highlights us for our 2-3 zone.
Also notable: Doug Gottlieb and Desmond Mason were playing for the Cowboys. A year later I saw them lead Oklahoma State into the dome for the NCAA regional finals.
What are your thoughts on Gottlieb with his whole anti-Syracuse thing?
The thing with Boeheim's coaching with respect to Tony Bland that I found remarkable was that even when Bland played very poorly and only saw 4 minutes a game, he was never pulled from the starting lineup.
I've always thought Gottlieb was something of a blowhard. And I'm sure that the fact that SU and Oklahoma St. played each other frequently in recent years probably has something to do with his animosity towards the Orange.
But I can't really take Gottlieb seriously. He was the WORST shooter I've ever seen play Division I basketball. Teams would play so soft on him and just try to stop him from passing, a skill which made up for the shooting. He'd also go run and hide late in the game when the opponents were looking for someone to foul. Hilarious.
